|Please find below information about the event at St Briavels Castle, 5th to 7th February 2016
Details may be subject to change on arrival and further advice by the Castle Staff.
As always please take time to read the site specific information below, we have exclusive use of the castle and the gates will be closed after everyone arrives.
You may arrive after 5pm Friday the 5th of February.
When you arrive find a ref so we can sort out your room and record you on the bedroom list.
Anyone that might arrive after 9 pm should let us now in advance and should be aware we should be already be timed in and briefed.
From the north M6, M5, M50 follow the signs to Monmouth. From there follow A466 to Chepstow. After approximately 5 miles turn left and follow signs to St Briavels. The castle is straight in front of you. From the south M4, M48 to Chepstow. Follow the A466 to Monmouth. Approximately 7 miles after the metal bridge, turn right and follow signs to St Briavels. (The village is not large it should be easy to find)
St Briavels Castle YHA,
When you arrive go through the large main gates and straight on until it opens into the court yard and enter through the door on your right
The Hostel as 70 beds so you their should not be a shortage as we have a total of 42 people players and crew. These are all large rooms with 6+ bed in them
The Tower bed rooms have been allocated as a crew area and crew sleeping since these are separate from the main building.
All bed linen is provided.
Their is one dining room, 2 lounge areas and a conference room above the dining room called the chapel.
This event is catered with breakfast, snack lunch and evening meal on Saturday and breakfast Sunday morning, tea, coffee and squash will also be included. We will advise final details on the day on timings meals etc.
On Friday night you will be expected to have eaten before or during journey or bring your own snack food.
The hostel has a licensed bar and therefore they are keen we use it.
Enough car parking should be available in the castle car park next to the entrance gates, however you will be blocked in as double parking will be necessary, since everyone leaves at the same time this is not normally a problem.

No pets allowed.
Smoking is not permitted in any YHA property. (smoker usually smoke outside the gates)
Cap firing guns may not be used inside the building and overnight outside the building.
After 9pm in the evening noise outside the buildings should generally be kept to minimum since the castle is surrounded by a village.
Be careful with sprays, these can set off fire/smoke alarms.
We have to have all cleared up and vacated the premises by 12pm on Sunday 7th February, time out will therefore be very late Saturday night.
Any damage inflicted on the building or itís fittings we will be charged for; and any extra cleaning required to be done by YHA staff will be charged for, so please leave everything tidy.
