Not all the maps are at the same scale, a scale bar is included
Only the land is drawn to scale (as best as the technology will allow)
Sea scale is compressed, so the sea's between land masses may take a lot longer to cross than would 1st appear, particular the distance between Faerie and Atlantis is probably 5 times the distance shown.
