Event Prices
Group Event prices for 2010
For the Group events booked by players the price will be £ 15 per person, per day for UPC's, New Blood and DPC are £ 7.50 per day, Crew are Free
NOTE these prices exclude any site cost if applicable, which may also be applicable to crew. Any site cost will be advised to the players before the booking is confirmed.
Note this price assumes a minimum booking of 5 UPC players.
Events at Shining cliff will be linear in style run from approx 10am to 5pm and have no site cost, since the hostel is no longer available.
Discounts for 2010
A discounted price of £225 is available for the weeklong (8 day event Candleston 5-12th August) only, if paid in full before the end of February 2010
Core event prices 2010
The following places are available for Core events. Please note that all these options are limited in number and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Ultimate Player Characters [UPC's]
If you want to have total free will (within the event rules) to play the character of your dreams and gain the full benefits of the extensive Ascendancy character advancement system, playing this option is for you. UPC's get to interact with and shape the Shards game world, at every turn, their very actions determine their own and many others fates.The number of UPC places is directly related to the number of crew bookings we have.
Directed Play - £30 at Murton Park £75 at Unstone Manor £200 for the 8 day Weeklong at Candleston
Directed Player Character's [DPC's]
If you are not sure what to play or fancy trying something different the DPC is for you. You are given a one off character to play with several objectives (both at the start and during the event) to propel the plot forward in a dramatic way; you might even end up being the hero or villain of the event. As DPC's are one off characters there is no character development system for them although they still gain a small amount of Karma to spend on a UPC to use at future events. All DPC places must be pre-booked well in advance in order for us to script the characters.

New Blood Players [NBP's]
If you have never been to one of our events before you qualify for a special New Blood Player place. You enter the game as an Ultimate Player Character; the only difference being is that your first event costs less. The number of NBP places is directly related to the number of crew bookings we have.
Crew - Free all events
Non Playing Characters & Crew [NPC's]
If you fancy playing a multitude of different non playing characters in order to entertain, scare and combat the ultimate player characters, playing NPC's is for you. So sign up now and join the crew, what's more its free!!!
NOTE places are limited particularly at indoor events so please contact us early, crew spaces must be booked in advance like player place.
All crew are expected to be available for encounters from 10am until 10pm
